COLD STORAGE
EXPERIENCE
Cassco has been providing public refrigerated storage space for over 50 years primarily to the poultry industry and other food companies. The Company has grown its warehouse business by employing a careful and strategic plan that takes advantage of market opportunities as they arise.

ACCESSIBILITY
Our locations offer easy access to Interstates 81, 64 and 95 in Virginia; Interstates 95, 85, 77 and Route 74 in North Carolina making overnight delivery easily accomplished to most East Coast and Southern locations.

SERVICES
The primary services Cassco provides at its warehouses include product handling, storage, container loading/unloading, blast freezing and order picking. In addition, we can provide direct invoicing and online inventory management through our EDI systems. Cassco has multiple shift availability for flexible receiving and dispatch schedules. All facilities are approved to export products through ports including, but not limited to, Baltimore, MD; Norfolk, VA; Wilmington, NC; Charleston, SC and Virginia Inland Port in Front Royal, VA. All facilities are certified to export poultry products to all countries that will accept US products, including Russia.

Merchandising
Selling ice can be a challenge; all too often it lives in its own little space in the corner of the floor plan, off the beaten path, out of sight and all too often out of mind. That’s why we have put a great deal of effort into developing special materials and merchandising units needed to keep our products front and center in the buying public’s eye. Not a plant or a production line, the Ice Factory™ is a standalone system that can live right inside your business, producing, packaging and displaying ice products 24 hours a day. You get the same high standards and the same high quality you’ve come to expect from Reddy Ice, as you need it, when you need it, day or night.

The Ice Factory™ is a proprietary self-contained automated system that, when combined with traditional delivery methods, provides our customers the flexibility to meet their specific supply requirements in a cost-efficient manner.

Disaster Ice
We realize there are occasions when ice products are needed for comfort and survival and thus become a critical part of recovery efforts in times of disaster. Whether the need is a result of hurricanes, power outages, floods or other emergency situations, we have a system that can respond.  Our disaster response team is centrally located and linked to a network of production and distribution facilities that are able to move quickly to make ice available in the affected area as soon as possible once an emergency situation is reported.  In times of disaster, response and recovery go hand in hand, and Reddy Ice is there to assist with both.
