On April 12, 2012, Reddy Ice Inc. announced that it has filed its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2011, in which the Company disclosed that it intends to file a voluntary Plan of Reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The Company is filing with the support of a majority of our lenders and major creditors. The balance sheet restructuring will ensure strong financial footing for the future and at the same time allow operations to continue uninterrupted.
