Chilled cocktails perfect for those crisp days of Fall

There are so many reasons why fall is considered by many to be their favorite season of the year. The welcome drop in temperature and slightly cool breeze, seeing the colors on the trees change from green to bright orange, red and yellow, and the anticipation for the most awaited holidays of the year has finally subsided. Halloween & Thanksgiving decorations are out in stores and displayed in homes and the start of the holiday season is finally here. There is something inherently cozy about fall, as the season sees things slowing down it provides you with more of an excuse to stay inside and simply relax. To help you do just that, we’ve pieced together a list of chilled cocktail recipes, we think would add the perfect touch to the moments shared with loved ones, or a relaxing day at home.

Fall Colors

1. Autumn Fizz

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Alibi Gin
  • .25 oz lemon juice
  • Agave nectar, to taste
  • Sparkling apple cider
  • Thyme
  • Apple slices

Instructions

  • Pour gin in a shaker
  • Add lemon juice, agave nectar, Reddy Ice ice cubes, shake, and then pour into a highball glass
  • Top with sparkling cider
  • Garnish with some fresh thyme & an apple slice

 Autumn Fizz

2. Pumpkin White Russian

Ingredients

  • 1 oz pumpkin spice Kahlua
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz heavy cream

Instructions

  • Combine Kahlua, vodka, & cream into glass over Reddy Ice ice cubes
  • Stir lightly & serve
3. Whiskey Sour

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Bulleit Bourbon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • .5 tsp sugar
  • Orange slice
  • Maraschino cherry

Instructions

  • Add bourbon, lemon juice, & sugar in a cocktail shaker
  • Shake with Reddy Ice ice cubes & strain into a chilled rocks glass
  • Garnish with an orange slice & a maraschino cherry
4. Villar Perosa

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Shiraz Gin
  • .5 oz elderflower liqueur
  • 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • 2 oz prosecco

Instructions

  • Shake all ingredients except prosecco with Reddy Ice ice cubes
  • Strain into a glass & top off with prosecco

 Villar Perosa

5. Bartender's Breakfast

Ingredients

  • .75 oz coconut milk
  • .75 oz Nutella
  • 1 oz milk
  • .75 oz El Dorado 12 Yr old Rum
  • .75 oz Pierre Ferrand 1840 Cognac
  • .25 oz demerara syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Nutmeg

Instructions

  • Combine coconut milk & Nutella in a blender until smooth
  • Pour into a shaker tin with all other ingredients
  • Shake with Reddy Ice ice cubes and strain into a glass
  • Garnish with a shaved nutmeg
  • Serve with a red striped straw

 Bartender's Breakfast

6. Caramel Apple Mule

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Absolut vodka
  • .5 oz caramel
  • 1 oz apple cider
  • Ginger beer, to top

Instructions

  • Shake all the ingredients with Reddy Ice cubed ice
  • Strain into a wooden mug over some Reddy Ice ice cubes
  • Top with ginger beer
  • Garnish with an apple fan
7. Port Old Fashioned

Ingredients

  • 2 oz whiskey
  • .5 oz 10-year tawny port
  • 1 bar spoon maple syrup
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Orange peel

Instructions

  • Place an orange peel, syrup, & bitters into a glass
  • With a muddler, gently press the orange peel to release its oils
  • Add whiskey, port, and a large Reddy Ice ice cube
  • Stir to dilute
8. Pumpkin Spice Margarita

Ingredients

  • 1.5 parts Sauza Signature Blue Reposado tequila
  • 3 parts cream
  • .5 part Torani Pumpkin Spice Syrup
  • 1 part simple syrup
  • .5 tsp vanilla extract
  • .25 tsp cinnamon
  • .25 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • Extra cinnamon for rimming (optional)

Instructions

  • Shake all ingredients vigorously with Reddy Ice ice cubes
  • Strain into a chilled cocktail glass rimmed with cinnamon
9. Grilled Peach Old Fashioned

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Reserva de la Familia
  • .75 oz Carpano Antica
  • 1 slice of a fresh yellow peach
  • 2 Italian Amarini cherries
  • 2 cubes of Demerara Sugar
  • 3 dashes of citrus bitters
  • 1 slice of a fresh grilled peach (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Muddle peach, cherries, sugar & bitters in a mixing glass
  • Add Reserva de la Familia & Carpano Antica & stir to combine
  • Strain over fresh Reddy Ice ice cubes in a rocks glass
  • Garnish with a grilled peach slice

 Grilled Peach Old Fashioned

10. Apple Hinny

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Hangar 1 Straight Vodka
  • 1 oz fresh green apple juice (Granny Smith recommended)
  • .5 oz lime juice
  • Ginger beer to top

Instructions

  • Combine & serve over Reddy Ice ice cubes
  • Garnish with an apple fan
