This role implements and continuously improves the supplier onboarding and performance management scan-based trading (SBT) process. The goals of this position are to ensure maximum supplier compliance with Reddy Ice and industry standards and to cultivate profitable business relationships with our retailers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and lead retailer partner onboarding and off-boarding of SBT in conjunction with the General Accounting, accounts Receivable, Operations, IT and Commercial teams.
Educate retailers on how to best comply with requirements to maximize vendor compliance. Manage all vendor/trading partner compliance initiatives.
Cultivate a data-driven environment within the team and across stakeholders to identify key actionable insights from performance and root cause analyses. Cut through large amounts of data to quickly identify trends and implications on strategy and approach.
Translate insights into action and report findings and recommendations to category management and senior management. Use analytics to prepare the sales team for critical vendor negotiations that deliver margin growth for the company leveraging compelling visual analytics.
Prepare and deliver shrinkage reports for leaders, supplier partners, Senior and the Executive Leadership Team.
Responsible for all activities related to reconciliation, analysis and trending of retailer data, profitability, reporting, and working with stakeholders to improve program profitability.
Manage the 3rd party SBT provider and be the main point of contact with 3rd party.
Develop a process to action store openings, renovations, and store closings and their impact on shrinkage.
Work with the IT manager and the master data team to establish customer attributes, pricing setup, shrinkage reporting.
Coordinate with the IT Manager and 3rd party SBT provider on shrinkage reporting, including improvements and areas for opportunity. Collaborate with the IceGenie team and outline different dashboards required for immediate access to SBT data points.
Produce and review all shrinkage reports with the commercial team and identify opportunity areas.
Coordinate with external 3rd party SBT provider for SBT conversions and integrations and day-to-day SBT operational support.
Prepare and manage all retailer specific project plans for SBT conversions, review with the Commercial and IT teams, and execute the approved plan on time and on budget.
Develop a deeper understanding of the SBT business processes alongside with commercial business.
Responsible for maintaining and updating all project plans and SOPs related to scan-based trading. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and readily available.
Manage the post-SBT conversion support process.
Collaborate with the IT Manager on RAILs as they relate to all the SBT initiatives; provide day-to-day support (eg, customer issues).
Provide monthly status reports to the CFO and Commercial teams.
Assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or a related field is required
8+ years experience implementing Commercial/IT projects including deploying Scan Based Trading solutions, within a matrixed structure.
Minimum 3+ years of experience managing a third party scanning technology provider.
Proven ability to express clear points of view and conclusions to a wide range of internal and external audiences through effective story telling via presentations.
Advanced expertise with the MS Office Suite.
Proven and credible business knowledge and experience in the applications that are supported across the Consumer Product Goods industry.
Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate business requirements, direction, and initiatives from the SBT business perspective.
Experience working in a cross-functional environment and building strong cross-functional partnerships required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimal travel required; a valid drivers license and acceptable MVR are required. Typical office environment, generally sedentary position using computers, calculators, phones, and other office equipment. This position works in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment. The ability to manage stress, build professional and collaborative relationships, and reason through complex business situations is essential.
